I am involved in characterizing T helper cell subsets through immunophenotyping human clinical samples such as blood, bronchoalveolar lavage and induced sputum. I am conducting the flow cytometry efforts in several different clinical studies in conjunction with the UCSF Asthma Clinical Research Center, as well as the nationwide AsthmaNet study.
I recently graduated from UC San Diego and majored in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. I plan to attend graduate school in the future, but in the meantime, I am looking to expand my research interests and hope to make a contribution to science! In my spare time, I like to exercise, particularly playing tennis and training for long runs.
