Sarah Abdul-Wajid

I worked on elucidating the role of Eri-1 on miRNAs in T-cells using various expression vector constructs and transfection/transduction protocols. I also worked on charaterizing phenotypes of Eri-1 KO T-cells in-vivo and in-vitro.

I grew up in Canada (Edmonton and Toronto) and did my undergraduate work at the University of Toronto. My time in the Ansel lab motivated me to pursue graduate work and now I am beginning my own Ph.D work in the Molecular, Cellular and Dev. Biology department at UC Santa Barbara.
