Sanna Loppi

I am a PhD student from Finland, University of Eastern Finland, Kuopio Campus. I work in Neuroinflammation Research Group led by Tarja Malm in A.I.Virtanen -institute of Molecular Sciences. My work is concentrated on the role of microRNAs in stroke related neuroinflammation, and the main purpose of my visit here is to learn about microRNA target analysis.

I graduates as a Bachelor of Pharmacy already during year 2002. I was working in a pharmacy store until 2012, when I decided to do the Master's degree. After completing that, I have been sucked up into science and now my life is in the lab within stroke studies. When not in lab, I like to go walking and jogging in the nature, and I am also a non-curable dog lover.
